Mabey Bridge Corporate Identity
The Mabey Group of companies is a worldwide engineering organisation based here in the UK. The group recently underwent a major reorganisation of its companies
and Mabey Bridge Limited was formed as a result of merging the two UK-based bridging companies in the group.
We were approached to design new company logos, stationery and a shiny new website for Mabey Bridge all of which had to be finished in just a few weeks.

We set out by designing a series of company logos to present to the client. The new logo had to include the existing corporate "domino", so the amount
of design we were able to do was somewhat limited.
We racked our brains, though, and came up with a fantastic logo which was fiendishly clever. We created a new typeface to complement the "domino",
and were able to incorporate the ordnance survey symbol for a bridge right in the middle of the word. What's more, if you ignore the blue part of the
logo, it appears to suggest MABEY II. What could be more perfect for a company being re-branded?

Needless to say, the client opted for a different variant. D'oh!
A few tweaks were necessary, and the new logo was good to go.

Armed with the new logo and corporate typeface, we then designed new stationery. As well as print-ready files, we also supplied the headed paper
and continuation sheets as Word document templates to that they could be used for in-house printing.

Work actually began on the new Mabey Bridge website before the logo had been approved. So tight was the deadline and so much content was required on the site,
that we wanted the best headstart we could get. The Mabey Bridge chaps had very clear ideas about how the new site should look, and we were given clear
instructions and very detailed content, all of which made the development of the site a pretty straightforward affair.
The site went live a day early, after many late nights both here and at Mabey Bridge. Click on the image below to visit the finished Mabey Bridge site:
